This is a pilgrimage. And you'll leave different than you arrived.

As for going off on your own: of course. Know that this container was intentionally designed as a complete experience. The magic deepens when you're with the group and allow things to unfold as intended. That said, if you want to rent a car and see more of Maui during free time, you're absolutely welcome to - and we will miss you.
Absolutely come solo or your partner! Many participants join on their own and find the solo experience deeply transformative. This journey is priced based on shared occupancy, so you'll be sharing a room with another participant. If you bring a friend or partner, you'll be placed together as roommates.

Absolutely. Every activity is built for all levels.
Hiking: Easy to moderate trails. No extreme fitness required - just be comfortable walking on uneven terrain.
Water activities: Basic swimming and snorkeling. Nothing too intense - just be comfortable in the water.
Yoga: Easy to moderate sessions. All levels welcome.
Mountain driving: We drive to the top of Haleakalā, and Maui's roads can be winding. If you're prone to motion sickness, bring non-drowsy Dramamine, ginger (candied, tea, or capsules), or acupressure wristbands. Same goes for boat days.
The only real requirement? An open mind and willingness to receive.

You're welcome to enjoy the amenities if you are waiting on your room ahead of time. We will have dinner and an opening ceremony that night.
Check-out is Sunday, March 22, 2026 by 11 AM. You're more than welcome to enjoy the resort amenities for the day.

Uber, Lyft, and taxis are available from Kahului Airport (OGG) to Hale Akua. You won't need to rent a car unless you want to venture out on your own. That said, this retreat was designed for full participation throughout - and that's where the real transformation happens.
